NOSE WHEEL STEERING SWITCH 737 FREE
Actually I'm not sure it's an issue related to Zibo itself, since I heard others saying that Better Pushback breaks their nose wheel steering.įeel free to share your thoughts on this, any help will be highly appreciated.Įdit: Found some guys discussing this issue on X-plane forum, the post is here: Looks like it's something related to the incompatibility between the latest beta version of X-plane 11 and aircraft that use custom nose wheel steering logic. The nose wheel steering switch is a two-position switch. Interestingly, I found the same issue also presented on 737-700/900 Ultimate which also use Zibo system despite the problem appeared at the time I was flying 738, and other aircraft work just fine. The landing gear system on the 737NGX is made up of two main landing gear in the center fuselage. So I tried resetting the configuration and the state in the EFP, relaunching the game, rebooting the system, deleting the X-plane configuration file, nothing worked. This only occurred to me for the first time, never happened before. After disconnecting from the tug, I began to roll down the taxiway, only to find out that no matter how I moved the tilter and rudder pedals, the nose wheel just didn't respond at all. when the aircraft was being pushed back with Better Pushback plugin, I saw that the nose wheel didn't tilt connected to the tug, and the aircraft didn't turn at the position where it was supposed to turn.
Last night I was flying Zibo 737-800 (version 3.35.28) and getting ready to taxi. FSUIPC allows you now to assign a Joystick Axis to the nosewheel steering. The nosewheel steering system was checked for range of travel and response. *īefore you jump into the conclusion "again that's the noob who doesn't know that 737 nose wheel needs to be controlled by the tilter in order to turn more sharply", well, that's not the case (and that's why I couldn't find any helpful information regarding my issue). These are the means whereby you actually control just about every switch. Runway excursion, American Airlines Incorporated., Boeing 737-823, N901AN.
Exact cause unknown, but solved by rolling back to X-plane 11 stable release version.
